Thanksgiving Like-A-Thon – Little Children of the World is having a Facebook Like-A-Thon Sunday, November 19 – Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 23. Donors agree to give a donation of as little as a penny per Facebook like the LCW page receives during that time period. The goal is to increase the number of Facebook followers while raising money for the Urgent Needs fund. You can sign up to be a donor here. Endowment Matching Funds – Our sincerest thanks go out to the long time Sponsor/Donor, who wishes to remain anonymous, who pledged $25,000 in memory of his parents to be matched for Endowment. LCW is excited to announce that the matching funds have been met and exceeded by over $3000. Thank you to each and everyone who has made this possible. Endowment provides long term sustainability for the LCW ministry. May God bless each of you who made this possible.
Babbie Mason Concert and Silent Auction – On November 4, 2017 LCW held their annual fundraiser at Lamar County Fine Arts Center. There were 51 items submitted to bid on in the silent auction. Babbie Mason sang beautifully, and everyone in attendance was blessed by her worshipful spirit. Founder Peggy Houk, was in attendance, and she was recognized for thirty years of faithful service to this ministry. Special thanks to Margie Mangham, Vice President of Development, for coordinating the evening. Thank you to all the volunteers who gave of their time to serve at the event, thank you to everyone who came to support LCW, thank you to all who purchased ads for the program, and thank you to Babbie Mason for a wonderful performance. LCW is abundantly blessed, and many lives will be changed as a result.
