Jaymar Flores

Date of Birth: August 23, 1995

School Level: Grade 5
# of Siblings: 1 brother
Father's Occupation: pedicab driver

Mother's Occupation: vendor
Family's Income: $4 per day

Jaymar is a 5th grade student and excels in Math and English. During his free time he helps his mother with chores and plays with his friends. He comes to LCP every Sunday to attend Sunday school praising and worshiping God. They have Bible at home and a small Bible which he carries to LCP every Sunday.

Their house has bamboo walls and floors and the roof is tin and coconut leaves but they do not own the house. They have electricity and water. Some of the roof needs repair because it has holes in it. The bamboo floor also needs to be repaired. Jaymar's parents both work and the family needs help with Jaymar's education. Often, he goes to school with no lunch money and delayed submission of school projects. Finding help with Jaymar's education will give him an opportunity to pull out of the grips of poverty and help his family. Please help support Jaymar as he wishes to become a nurse someday and perhaps a doctor.

Their house is half concrete and bamboo and coco lumber. It has electricity and water. They live in a government house and pay 280 pesos ($5.60) for 25 years after which they will own it. They have been paying for the house for 12 years. The roof leaks and some of the house has termites. They have a clean bathroom and two small bedrooms. They come to LCP on Sundays to attend the service and Sunday school. She knows how to pray for they always pray at night for guidance and protection. Cresly and her family are praying for help and hope through sponsorship so she may continue her studies and pull out of the grips of poverty.
