Sponsored Child Benefits

The following benefits are available to the sponsored child:

HEALTH AND HOUSING

  • Annual physical exam

  • Vitamins and milk for malnourished children

  • Family education

  • Medicines/medical care
  • Weekly health clinic, paramedics trained by the Red Cross are available to monitor health of children in their communities

  • Dental care (limited)
  • Vision screening (limited)
  • Two soup kitchens
  • Housing (limited)

EDUCATION/LIVELIHOOD

  • Preschools that serve nutritious meals daily

  • School-age children are provided with school supplies, transportation, and uniforms

  • After-school programs offer tutoring. Livelihood projects teach youth and parents to be self-sufficient

  • Resource library on the LCP Compound

PEACE AND FAITH

  • Children and parents are expected to attend Sunday School and Sunday services

  • Bible studies required for parents in the communities

  • All families in the program provide 5 to 10 hours of LCP community service

  • Youth Choir
  • Chimes
  • Puppet Ministry
  • Praise and Worship Team
  • Counseling Service
  • Teen Mission Leadership and Evangelism Camp for youth
  • Door-to-Door Evangelism for Teen Missions Youth

Sponsors receive at least four (4) written letters from their sponsored child per year. You may also travel to the Philippines to volunteer your services and/or visit your sponsored child.
