Little Children of the WorldEstablished in 1987, Little Children of the World (LCW) addresses the plight of children of low-income families in developing countries. LCW is an interdenominational Christian agency dedicated to helping develop caring communities for children. Its focus is on children who are victims of extreme poverty and neglect, as well as vulnerable to abuse.

LCW has two USA offices: one in Etowah, Tennessee and another in Barnesville, Georgia.

The Etowah office is responsible for: Education Programs (except college scholarship program), livelihood, housing, board activities, establishing policies and procedures, all publications and volunteer services. In addition, the Etowah site has two affiliated programs - an After-School Program for pre-teens which includes a ministry for single parents and a Retreat and Conference Center.

The Barnesville office is the Finance and Sponsorship Office responsible for receipting all donations, preparing financial quarterly and annual reports, and audits. Additional activities at this office are to oversee the sponsorship program, college scholarship program, peace program, health program, processing case studies of children who need a sponsor, receipt donations for sponsorship and correspondence with sponsors and donors, monthly wire transfers to LCP, fund raising, quarterly preparation for shipping in-kind donated items and also gifts being sent to sponsored children, receipts and inventory of all donated items for shipping. Plans are made for trips to the Philippines board meetings, and for meetings with staff, finance personnel, sponsored children/parents, peace staff etc at least twice per year.

Little Children of the Philippines (LCP), a subsidiary of LCW, was established in 1989 in Dumaguete City on the island of Negros. LCP has grown significantly in the number of people serviced and the comprehensive nature of the service programs. The ministry presently reaches out to approximately 950 families and serves over 5,000 people living in poverty stricken communities. Over 500 are sponsored children and 81 are sponsored college students.

In 2002, LCW established a chapter in Vancouver, Washington for the purpose of administering a new program in Ingan on the island of Leyte.
