Volunteer
- Why
should I get involved?
Disturbing
Statistics
- There are
an estimated 150 million street children worldwide. 1.5
million are in the Philippines.
- 35,000 children
worldwide die of starvation, malnutrition, or related diseases
every day.
- An estimated
2.2 million Filipino preschoolers suffer from malnutrition.
- Every day
300 Filipino children die of preventable or curable diseases like
pneumonia, diarrhea and measles.
The LCW programs
allow you to invest a portion or your life in helping to rescue
children from the dire effects of poverty, neglect or abuse.

How do I
become involved?
|
Child
Sponsorship
- You can change the life of a needy or poverty stricken child
by becoming a sponsor. A sponsorship ($30 a month or
$15 for half-sponsorship) helps to cover the cost of school
and food and medicine (and
other benefits).
Monetary
Donations
- Many LCW programs could use your monetary support or perhaps
your Church organization or civic group would like to become
involved.

Volunteer
Your Time
- Most people want to travel and see the world. Little Children
of the World can make it possible to combine service with
adventure by volunteering at our Philippine project in Dumaguete,
Philippines. Volunteer opportunities are also available
in Etowah, Tennessee and Barnesville, Georgia.
